Prep days

by Isa Rosso

Greetings from Australia!

We are getting ready for a new adventure at sea! As part of the US GO-SHIP program, we will be sailing across the South Pacific Ocean, from Sydney to Valparaiso (Chile), following the repeat hydrography P06 cruise line. The total cruise will be divided into 2 legs, and I am gonna be part of just the first one, from Sydney to Tahiti (not bad, uh??).

Today was our first day of preparation, and everything went incredibly smooth. We will be sailing from July 3 on the icebreaker R/V N.B. Palmer, so we have few days to get all the gear in, labs set up and be ready to roll!

Stay tuned for exciting news and updates!
